MS Dhoni:Command your Respect

All these days,we had heard some slogans like "Do or Die","Never say Die","Hit Out Or Get Out"so on..It looked like that the world had got bored of recycling and using the same old slogans again and again. There was some relief for those people when they were provided with a breakthrough by the Indian ODI captain M.S.Dhoni last week when he added another slogan to the list"Fire or Retire"..

A better way of expressing this attitude of M.S.Dhoni would be to prove his words true on the field. He showed the same on the field during the inaugral edition of the T20 world cup in South Africa in September 2007.Even during the home tour against Australia, his performance was not that dismal-that he was awarded the man of the match in the ODI which India won.

"Past is Past"->Its better if Dhoni could tell this to himself before making any such comments. His recent performance in the four tests against Australia which read-0&11,2&35,19 & 38,16 & 20 speaks the latest. He had a narrow escape then, lest because he was not the captain then.

But not anymore..the scores of 9 and 37 in the T20 and the first ODI against shows his spirit. And the way he plundered the Sri Lankan attack in the second ODI scoring 88*was just superb.Well"The More You Speak, the more you'll have to Prove".Keep this in mind Dhoni...
