Hmm..with less than half a day to go for the first edition of the multi million dollar Indian Premier League to start,its put almost all cricket fans over the world and also the players involved in a excitement.And fears and chances for the sponsors who have invested millions of dollars in the league.Whatever...

But,some doubts have always taken over my mind regarding the success of the tournament.No doubt,the way the crowds gathered at the venues to get tickets for not one but for all the matches could give a fair picture regarding the enthusiasm in people's minds.But,I'm sorry!Its really frustrating if the players' performance that is to dreamt of.For the instance let us take the likes of the icon players viz Sachin Tendulkar,Anil kumble,Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag.All but for Viru,the players have played little or no T20 cricket at all.And as all of us are aware of,T20 is all about big hitting,the likes of Dravid & Kumble have hardly done that in their so long international careers.

And taking the likes of retired gentlemen viz Glenn McGrath,Shane Warne..waho have not been in this format of the game and also its been a year or so since they have last turned up for their nation.Have they got the guts to give it out at the big stage?

And also some lesser known names like Wassim Jaffer,Suresh Raina,Mohd Kaif,Manish Pandey,Surabh Tiwari and much more..Well if the answer for their inclusion is just to give them a chance to prove their calibre,mind you guys..this is no Ranji match or a match involving minnow teams-where a loss or gain would hardly mean any difference.Its a business wherein there is million of dollars being poured into.

Well if everything goes out well,more than the sponsors and the players(captain in particular),I bet it will be a much better treat for the cricket fans out there.
